The Marketing & Communications Manager develops and executes an integrated marketing and communications plan that supports the objectives of the Foundation and is in synch with the messages of the Fraternity.
- Oversees and is responsible for all aspects of marketing, internal and external communications.
- Brings the vision and mission of the Foundation to life for all audiences, aligning messages with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Ensures that the Foundation’s brand reflects its vision and mission and enhances the image and understanding of the organization.
- Ensures that communications and messages reflect a consistent and complementary look and feel.
- Provides marketing and communications support for the fundraising activities of the Foundation.
- Provides marketing and communications support for the programmatic activities of the Foundation.
- Delivers consistent and reliable results, while also looking for new and creative ways to deliver the Foundation’s messages.
- Makes prudent use of Marketing and Communications budget; selects and oversees external resources to assist in providing marketing and communications.
- Works effectively with the Fraternity on joint projects to achieve the cohesive view for the audience; Partners effectively with the Fraternity to ensure all marketing activities are complementary.
- Oversees web site design and maintenance of information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field of study required.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in developing and executing marketing and communications programs.
- Member of Pi Beta Phi a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective branding strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic marketing and communication plans.
- Excellent project management skills – ability to execute on time and within budget, managing resources and vendors effectively.
- Excellent technical skills, ability to manage web site content, e-communications and other technical components of marketing efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively function as a key member of a high performance team.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent professional demeanor.
