Kristine Gruver, MA, CFRE, is the Donor Communications Manager at the Missouri Botanical Garden. With her strong background in communications, fundraising and donor relations, she develops communication strategies and materials for the Garden’s donor publics across print and digital media channels. Kristine works closely with fundraisers, designers, and media managers.
“I’ve been a CSPRC member for years, and I’ve found it so valuable,” Kristine says. “It’s one of the few organizations that focuses on communication in the broadest sense, and it offers diverse viewpoints and topics. I’m lucky that the Garden is an organizational member, so I can bring colleagues when CSPRC has a program that also applies to their work.”
Kristine received her BA from Southeast Missouri State University in 2004 and has worked for nonprofit organizations her entire career. She has loved the Missouri Botanical Garden since childhood and was thrilled to join the team in 2007. Kristine earned an MA in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Maryville University in 2015 and currently serves as an adjunct professor there.
A native St. Louisan, Kristine lives in South County with her husband and two spoiled cats.
Ashley Odham serves as the Development and Marketing Manager for KIPP St. Louis Public Schools, a nonprofit network of college-preparatory, public charter schools educating elementary, middle, and high school students. She is responsible for assisting with fundraising, directing events, coordinating volunteers and managing marketing and communications for KIPP's five area schools.
“As a teacher, I was always engaged in professional development and growth, and I have missed that as a development professional,” she said. “CSPRC offers me the opportunity to continue to learn, develop and grow while meeting others in the profession.”
At DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, Ashley was captain of the varsity softball team, a radio newscaster and founder of the Wellness Committee. After graduating in 2006, she joined Teach For America and spent two years teaching fifth graders in New York City and serving as team leader. Returning to St. Louis in 2008, she worked for two years as Recruitment Director for Teach For America as a Recruitment Director. In 2010, Ashley returned to the classroom as a founding sixth grade English Language Arts teacher at KIPP Inspire Academy, KIPP St. Louis' flagship school. After spending five years teaching fifth and sixth grade at KIPP, Ashley joined the KIPP regional team as Development and Marketing Manager.
When not working, Ashley enjoys spending time with her sons, Luke and Noah and her husband Dustin. She loves to work out, travel and is an avid reader.
Lyndsey Reichardt, MPA, CFRE, serves as Director of Development at St. Louis Oasis, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to healthy aging through lifelong learning, healthy lifestyles and civic engagement. She oversees national fundraising efforts for Oasis’ nine centers, including grant writing, appeals and individual fundraising.
Why CSPRC? “Oasis joined CSPRC as an organization member to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge that exists in St. Louis around best practices for marketing and communications, and to network with colleagues in the nonprofit field,” Lyndsey said.
Lindsey earned a BS in Public Relations from the Missouri State University in 2005 and a MA in Public Affairs form the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2011. She has worked in nonprofit fundraising for 12 years, including the American Cancer Society in Columbia, Missouri, and for The Mission Continues.
She has been honored four times by the American Cancer Society and was recognized by the St. Louis Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals as the Young Professional Fundraiser of the Year in 2014. Lyndsey has served in various volunteer capacities for AFP, including on the Executive Committee since for the past five years. She was also selected as by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of its “30 under 30” honorees in 2011.
Lyndsey and her husband live in Ballwin with their 2-year-old daughter. She loves to read and visits the library with her daughter every week or two.

Janelle Muehleisen is director of development and communications for the Institute for Family Medicine (IFM). As the sole development employee at IFM, she manages all aspects of fundraising, communications and marketing for the organization. IFM works diligently to remove barriers to healthcare for those who need it most and provides quality care to school districts, community centers and other nonprofit agencies.
“CSPRC is an important bridge that links nonprofit communicators to each other,” she said. “These connections are energetic, and I’ve benefited several times from a new idea sparked by one of those connections.” Janelle joined the CSPRC board in 2017 and serves on the Partnership/Sponsorship Committee.
A native of the St. Louis area, Janelle’s career initially began in the medical field, where she served as a pharmacy technician in both retail and hospital settings. She found her true calling in nonprofit development when she began working with Paraquad in 2011 as the development department assistant, gaining invaluable mentorship from the development director there. She eventually managed the organization’s communications and public relation efforts. She has since assumed roles across the nonprofit spectrum, specializing in all things development. Some organizations she has previously worked with include CharacterPlus, the National Corn Growers Association and, in the for-profit sphere, Scottrade.
Janelle graduated Magna cum Laude from Maryville University with a degree in organizational leadership and psychology in 2016. She also works part-time for 100th Monkey Media, creating content for social media channels for a handful of clients.
In whatever free time is left after work and taking care of a toddler, she can most likely be found at her favorite craft brewery, catching live music, or knitting and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers from her living room.

Chris Stalter has served as communications coordinator for Places for People since June 2012. He is responsible for all external communications for a $19 million nonprofit that, since 1971, has provided housing and an extensive variety of treatment programs, services and resources for the most vulnerable people in our community who live with serious mental illnesses, typically accompanied by complex and multilayered challenges: chronic homelessness, substance abuse disorder, primary health disorders and trauma.
“After attending CSPRC events off and on the past five years as a guest, I am excited that Places for People will become an organizational member,” he said. “CSPRC offers a unique opportunity to connect with and learn from my peers, and it provides access to an amazing array of resources, whether at luncheons or Spectrum.”
After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s in journalism in 1995, Chris served as a staff writer for the Olney Daily Mail for two years. He then worked as sports editor for The Leader-Union in Vandalia, Illinois. After moving to St. Louis in 2007, he spent five years managing communications and assisting with development for Rossman School in St. Louis, an independent, coeducational preparatory school for students in junior kindergarten (age 4) through grade 6.
At Places for People, the upcoming year will feature a flurry of activity as Chris helps the organization celebrate its 45th anniversary with a series of events over the next 12 months. The organization also recently kicked off a rebranding project.
On a personal level, Chris and his wife Katie are the proud parents of two daughters, Josie (6) and Eva (almost 2). The couple has been married for nearly nine years despite the fact that Chris is a die-hard Cubs fan and Katie is a lifelong Cardinals fan.

Rachel D’Souza-Siebert is the founder and principal of Gladiator Consulting, a company that enables her to strengthen nonprofits and community groups by sharing her experiences as a nonprofit manager and development officer.
Why has Rachel remained involved with CSPRC for seven+ years? “I continue to renew my membership because of the opportunities to build my own network and to engage in a practice of lifelong learning,” she said. “CSPRC offers relevant and timely content for those in our profession AND offers a platform for professionals to share their learnings, failings and best practices.”
After graduating with honors from Loyola University Chicago in 2004, she worked for three years as a manager for Banana Republic/Gap while earning her MPPA in nonprofit management and leadership at University of Missouri-St. Louis. In 2008, she became development manager for Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis. In 2011, Rachel moved to the St. Louis Language Immersion Schools where she served as director of development for four years.
“When I founded my nonprofit consultancy in 2015, I was looking for a way to balance my personal reality of being a mother of two with a traveling spouse with my desire to continue use of my professional skills,” she said. “I have settled into a great niche of small-but-mighty organizations with like visions for our community but very different missions – Arch City Defenders and Forward Through Ferguson, for example. Not only am I able to support their fund development goals, but I also find myself learning so much about new strategies and systems for earning charitable revenue and building relationships with funders.”
Rachel has also served as a volunteer spokesperson for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.

Stacy Kress is the marketing manager for the National Council of Jewish Women St. Louis (NCJW), an organization that has been making a difference in St. Louis through community service projects and advocacy for more than 120 years. She is responsible for all marketing and promotions of NCJW programs and events, including advertising, branding, press releases, social media and more.
“I value CSPRC because it is a great way to connect with people who work in the nonprofit world and understand the challenges of trying to do more with less,” she said. In fact, NCJW is a CSPRC organizational member.
After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in business and marketing in 2000, Stacy began a career in business marked by many successes. Before moving to NCJW and the nonprofit world in 2015, Stacy worked for five years as a buyer for Famous Barr, five years as an account executive for L’Oréal Designer Fragrances, and another five as sales and marketing manager/social media manager for VIP Access Tickets and Self Storage Finders.
As a volunteer, she has co-chaired the NCJW Back to School Store since 2013, co-chaired an annual bowling fundraiser for the National Organization for Albinism and Hypopigmentation for the past five years, and currently has served as a trustee of United Hebrew Congregation’s Board since 2013.
Stacy and her husband Dave are raising two children (Adam, 8, and Rylie, 5). In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, working out and traveling. She is “a huge Mizzou fan.” In fact, as an undergraduate, Stacy coordinated team promotions for all major athletic events, including football, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, and wrestling. She also developed and implemented marketing plans for the $29 million athletic organization, which resulted in increased revenue and attendance at games.

Kimberly Singer, MA, is the principal strategist at Kimberly Singer Creative, LLC, a firm she launched in May 2016 to help organizations and nonprofits develop actionable communication strategies and produce creative, results-oriented content.
“CSPRC is great as a resource for marketing and communications professionals,” she said. “We always need to keep learning, since the landscape is always shifting! But I think even more than the fantastic learning opportunities, getting connected to this network of people doing the work of amplifying the diverse nonprofits in St. Louis is extremely valuable both personally and professionally.”
After a year serving on the CSPRC Program Committee, she joined the board in 2016 and serves as vice chair of the Membership Committee.
Kimberly has more than 15 years of experience working in marketing and communications with nonprofits in the arts, education, family services and more. An Ohio native, she earned a bachelor’s in English literature at Miami University in 2000 and a master’s at the University of Chicago in 2003. She worked for five years at the University of Chicago Press before taking a position as the manager of marketing and visitor services at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum at Washington University in 2006. After serving in that capacity for six years, she worked as communications manager at the Institute for Public Health at Washington University for nearly five years before opening her own firm.
Kimberly serves on the board of the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank and is a strong advocate for ending diaper need in our region. She is in her third year supporting Sing for Siteman, a fundraiser for cancer research created in partnership with Opera Theatre of St. Louis.
When she’s not busy with her volunteer work or helping her clients solve problems, she’s chasing around her two young kids, reading whenever she finds a free minute, and enjoying the myriad outdoor activities and cultural opportunities available throughout St. Louis.

Amanda Laumeyer is development director at St. Patrick Center. St. Patrick Center provides opportunities for self-sufficiency and dignity to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. St. Patrick Center focuses services in St. Louis City and St. Louis County, providing assistance to 7,200 individuals and families annually. She is responsible for fundraising, directing events, volunteer services and telling St. Patrick Center’s story in the community. As part of the development team, she has successfully raised thousands of dollars through St. Patrick Center’s fundraising events, including the Irish Open Gala and Golf Tournament, the Veterans Day 5K, Irish Party and He Said She Said Trivia events.
Amanda values CSPRC because “every nonprofit in St. Louis is telling a different and important story. CSPRC helps those of us who are telling the stories. It’s a great resource to build skills, learn industry trends, gain insight and advice from professionals, and connect with colleagues.”
After graduating from Missouri State University in 2006, Amanda worked as community liaison for ComForcare Senior Services. She then worked in corporate sales for American Veterans Care Coordination St. Louis, as the national sales director. Prior to St. Patrick Center, Amanda served as walk manager at the Alzheimer’s Association St. Louis Chapter. Her success in that role contributed to the St. Louis Chapter’s Rising STAR and STAR status awards.
In addition to serving on the CSPRC program committee, Amanda, as a volunteer, is a member of the Sports Commission Associates (St. Louis Sports Commission Young Professional group) and the Metropolitan St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Run Committee.
Amanda enjoys cheering for the Cardinals, watching NCAA basketball and spending time outdoors with her husband and son.

Lisa Cohn, an AmeriCorps VISTA, serves as recruitment and outreach coordinator for ServiceWorks STL. She manages its cohorts, creates new community partnerships and occasionally facilitates student cohorts herself. ServiceWorks, the nations’ largest corporate sponsored AmeriCorps VISTA program, utilizes VISTA volunteers to help underserved youth (16-24) in 14 major cities learn soft skills that prepare them for college and career success.
Lisa is excited to be a new member of CSPRC. “I look forward to meeting fellow nonprofit professionals and learning from their collective experiences,” she said.
Lisa graduated with honors from Washington University in 2016 with majors in both English literature and psychology. She is passionate about criminal justice reform and plans to dedicate her life to empowering those who have been affected by incarceration. To learn more about her passion, read her December 5, 2016, article on the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, Justice-involved Youth Capable, Compassionate Enough to Help Peers Outside Their Walls. Her volunteer work as an undergraduate included the St. Louis City Juvenile Detention Center, a tutoring program at the St. Louis County Justice Center and a prison reentry program run by Mission: St. Louis. She also completed summer internships at the ACLU of Missouri and Citizens for Juvenile Justice in her hometown, Boston.
For relaxation, Lisa enjoys volleyball, skiing and reading.
